Additional information about AI Chat tools.
[0]. The original Session 4 of the Silver AI Course covers use of AI Chat tools for the following:
- creative writing and associated tasks
- preparing a grant application and similar tasks
- Google's NotebookLM for audio podcasts from pdfs and more
- Anthropic Claude's ability for holiday planning or to create websites
Here we add some extended uses as AI grows ever more powerful month by month.
[1] Helping explain complex mathematics challenges
ChatGPT was given the image below, which is a screenshot from the paper 'Actuarial Mathematics for Modelling Core Practices' set in April 2025. This was the prompt initially used:
"This is an example question from a professional exam for actuaries in the UK. Please solve it but be sure to explain every step carefully so that I can follow all of your working."
This caused ChatGPT 5 to think for about two minutes followed by a detailed response, with an answer to the first part of £ 349,177. Figures from the official tables had been looked up correctly. The screenshot below was just a small part of ChatGPT's answer. We have the official answer paper which gave an answer of approx £ 349,080. The second part was similarily close. Methodology has not been checked but looked good at first glance.
[2] Google's Gemini Storybook
"Just describe the story you want, add files and photos if you like, and Gemini will create a unique 10-page storybook. Leave no story left untold."

Example prompt "A scarecrow comes to life in the fields outside the small UK rural town of Chipping Sodbury and becomes a regular in the popular local pub The Horseshoe to the amusement of other customers."

[3] Moltbook - where Openclaw (Clawdbot) Agents hang out together
Molt was derived from a briefly used interim name for the first mass market self-contined AI agent 'Clawdbot' released in early 2026. The name came from the lobster icon as lobsters shed their hard exoskeleton in order to grow - a process called molting. Anthropic unwisely said the name could not be used for trademark reasons, and within three weeks the Openclaw project was acquired by OpenAI.
